Dolores Josephine (Ferrante) LaCroix, 66, of Plainfield Street, Johnston passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025. She was the wife of the late Charles P. LaCroix.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michael Ferrante and Barbara (Cardilli) Catlow.
Dolores was a friendly and warm person whose humor and kindness brought joy to those around her. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth. Her lively personality and generous spirit made her a pleasure to be around, and her laughter will be deeply missed. Dolores enjoyed sharing conversation over a good cup of coffee and spending time with her loved ones. These simple joys, along with her love for her family, defined a life filled with connection and memorable moments. She will be deeply missed and her beautiful spirit will be fondly remembered.
She was the beloved mother of Mellissa LaCroix-Dwyer and her husband Joel and Charles S. LaCroix and cherished grandmother of Rudolph, Grey, Kylah, Caleb, and Nico and great grandmother to Mercy Claire. She was also the sister of Donna Hood, Deina Catlow, Michael Ferrante and the late David Catlow.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Ave, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 6:30 PM. Burial will be private.
