To the Editor,

Thank you to Bob McMahon for his stormwater story and Providence Counts data.

I would very much like to see The Providence Eye consistently seek out non-gendered language. Maintenance hole is not only gender neutral, but it is more informative about the purpose of those holes in the ground once known as “manholes.”
