Welcome to Providence Public Library’s (PPL) Workshop, a dynamic community space dedicated to fostering creativity, collaboration, exploration, and innovation. The Workshop is more than just a room; it’s an educational ecosystem designed to facilitate hands-on, experiential learning for individuals of all ages. From youth to adults, everyone is encouraged to engage with maker tools and technology, explore new skills, and unleash their creativity.
Our state-of-the-art facilities include a MakerSpace equipped with cutting-edge tools for tinkering and crafting, as well as a professional-grade sound studio for audio production and recording. Whether you’re interested in learning the basics of sewing or mastering the intricacies of 3D printing, there’s something for everyone at the Workshop.
