The Museum of Work & Culture, a division of the Rhode Island Historical Society, will hold a special talk on Thursday, September 19 at 6pm featuring Kathy Cloutier, Executive Director of Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island, as part of its Welcome Blanket special exhibit programming.
In this talk, Cloutier will provide background on the history of Dorcas International Institute and the work that they do across Rhode Island. She will be joined by Sarah Antaya, Dorcas’s Refugee Resettlement Manager, who will share the challenges refugees face when they arrive in the United States and the impact the Welcome Blankets will have on them.

Dorcas International Institute of Rhode Island is a partner of the Museum’s special exhibit, Welcome Blanket.
