Join us for a discussion on the enduring popularity of her story and what it says about our culture.

Allison Horrocks is a public historian who lives in Lincoln, RI. Allison is the co-author of Dolls of Our Lives: Why We Can’t Quit American Girl and a forthcoming book on labor history. For more than five years, Allison co-hosted a podcast on history and pop culture that was featured in The New York TimesMarie Claire, and The Paris Review. She works for the National Park Service.
