Free Speech in Challenging Times

Provost J. Doyle III invites Frederick Lawrence, former president of Brandeis University and distinguished lecturer at the Georgetown Law Center for a discussion on the contours of free expression on campus. Lawrence will examine when speech may be restricted, why expression on campuses is presumed to be protected and what kind of speech culture we wish to create.
