Open House at the Steel Yard

The Steel Yard is having an Open House, and you’re invited! On May 3rd, from 11am-4pm, come by The Yard and enjoy tours, tasty food from Ja Patty, demos, browse resident art, and more.

We’ll also be joined by the Awesome Foundation who are helping decorate 401 postcards in support of increasing funding for creative projects and jobs in Rhode Island. “We’ll have supplies for artists young and old, postage included. That’s right: Your art, our stamps. Help our legislators imagine what Rhode Island would be like with more art!”

To top off the festivities, there’s going to be a ceramic handle-pulling contest with prizes for the winners. Bring a friend and come take a look at all The Steel Yard has to offer.
