Providence Children’s Film Festival

JULY 18TH – “FREE TO BE”

This program celebrates stories of unique and ferocious folks who reject being classified or defined by stereotypes and live their authentic selves. Historic prejudices, gender journeys and coming-of-age are all explored. (Multi-national / in English or w/English subtitles / 92 mins / suggested for 10+ but appropriate for all ages.)

Every year the Providence Children’s Film Festival searches the globe for films that inspire, challenge and entertain kids. For four special nights this summer PCFF will be presenting four thematic reels of short films selected from this year’s festival. Popcorn will be poppin’ and hearts will be stoppin’! Grab your picnic baskets and lawn chairs to join us under the stars in 195 District Park.
