Knight Memorial Library. 275 Elmwood Avenue, Providence. Designed by Edward Lippincott Tilton. Opened 1924.
Join us for this new interactive photography-based activity, using Knight Memorial Library as our base. We will start with an orientation on the history and architecture of Elmwood. Participants will then be given historic or contemporary photographs of building details or sites within a 3-block vicinity and challenged to find as many as possible and take a photograph or make a sketch of the site today. We will gather back at the Library afterwards to share findings and compare results. This program is family-friendly. July 20 // 1:00 – 2:45 pm
