Screening of 64 Days: The Insurrection Playbook

Join the Watson Institute’s JFK Jr. Initiative for Documentary Film and Social Progress for a screening of the film 64 Days: The Road to Insurrection followed by a discussion with the director Nick Quested About the Film: 64 Days, a new documentary by Nick Quested documenting the January 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol offers an unprecedented inside look—including never-before-seen footage—at efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, culminating in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Quested embedded with the Proud Boys and other far-right groups during the months leading up to the insurrection, capturing exclusive footage of figures including Enrique Tarrio and Stewart Rhodes that was used as evidence in hearings of the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol, and as part of their larger investigation.About the Director: Nick Quested is the Executive Director and owner of Goldcrest Films, where he has built a distinguished career in documentary filmmaking. With over 60 films to his credit, Quested has earned both an Emmy Award and a duPont-Columbia Award for his contributions to journalism and film. He is also known for his work as a producer on Restrepo, which was nominated for an Academy Award®.  In June 2022, Quested provided critical testimony as the opening witness before the January 6 Committee, sharing his extensive footage of the Proud Boys and their involvement in the insurrection. His filmography reflects a commitment to exploring complex political and social issues, and his work has been widely recognized for its investigative depth and journalistic integrity.
