In this workshop, the Audubon Society of Rhode Island will bring preserved specimens from their collections to show the diversity and beauty within the natural world. Participants will learn why certain animals look the way they do, how to capture their features in art, as well as why scientific sketching is often more informative than photos.
This class is for children and youth ages 10 and up. No artistic background needed, just an interest in learning about wildlife and in practicing drawing. Registration encouraged.
This program will happen on the second Wednesday of the month at 4:00-5:00 pm through March 2025.
