Nature is a companion who comforts us, technology we wield, and a teacher who guides us. Open November 1-17 in the Lobby of The Lindemann Performing Arts Center, The dead teach me how to die by letting me wildly live: the exhibition showcases the work of Laura Brown-Lavoie, Brooke Erin Goldstein, Jazzmen Lee-Johnson, Jordan Seaberry, and Kei Soares Cobb. Come explore navigational maps for life and death, from subterranean realms to astral planes, that nature has gifted us through the visual, literary and auditory work of five brilliant artists. This exhibition is part of the dead teach me how to die by letting me wildly live, a two-day gathering of artists and earth workers engaging with death and burial through performance, installation, and storytelling.
