Marion-Elizabeth M. Babatunde, 37, of East Providence, passed away unexpectedly on Monday May 4th.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Florence (Adesina) Babatunde and the late Ahmed “Abraham” Babatunde.
She loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. She was the glue of her family and was totally devoted to her only daughter, Teana. Her legacy will be that she put everyone’s needs before her own. “She was an Angel walking among us”.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving daughter, Teana Elizabeth Connor; two brothers, Kazeem Babatunde and Michael Babatunde; a sister, Nikki Babatunde; a nephew, Michael Babatunde, Jr. and two cousins, Ope Toluope and Niyi Sofoluwe.
Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Wednesday, May 20th, from 9:00 am-11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Please wear white in remembrance of her “Angel Presence” while here on earth. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. After the burial there will be a reception at the Providence Fire Fighters Hall, 92 Printery Street, Providence, from 1:00pm-6:00pm.
