It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tiffany Marie Wilcox on November 16, 2024, at the tender age of 44.

Tiffany was born on April 22, 1980 in Providence, R.I., to the late Saturnino Evora and Denise Wilcox.

She was known for her bubbly personality, unwavering academic determination, and love and support for her children and family. She lit up the room with her infectious smile.

Tiffany was a lifelong learner, attending Providence Public schools, where she graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. She continued her education at Rhode Island College where she earned a bachelor’s in social work and a MSW (master’s in social work). Tiffany dedicated her life to helping others by pursuing a career in social work within a variety of organizations.

Her loving memory will live on in her beautiful children, Shaughn C. Carter (Paige) and Eliana M. Carter, mother Denise Wilcox, brother Tyrone Wilcox, sisters Denise Wilcox, Brittany Evora Hicks, Jamelia Holloway, uncles Curtis M. Evora, Michael A. Evora, Sr., Chris Wilcox, John Wilcox & Theodore Wilcox, aunts Renee Haynes, Alicia Wilcox, Rhonda Christ, Theresa Marie Evora-Archie, Patricia Evora-Carrillo, Andrea Gomes & Roxanne D. Nance. She was a devoted aunt to her nieces, nephews, and her goddaughter Synai Y. Maddox.

Tiffany also leaves behind a host of cousins, friends and many sisters/friends who were compassionate about her until the very end!

Tiffany’s doting family members who passed on before her, father Saturnino S. Evora, Jr., paternal grandparents Saturnino S. Evora Sr. & Yvonne B. Evora-Gomes, maternal grandparents Theodore Wilcox & Eleanor (Williams) Wilcox, uncles Kirk Wilcox, Ronald Wilcox, aunts Evelyn Winfield, Terry Gibbson & Eleanor Wilcox.
