Deborah Ann LeClair

Our beloved sister, Deborah Ann LeClair, 74, of Providence, passed peacefully on June 3, 2025, at Elmwood Rehabilitation Center in Providence. Born on August 8th, 1950, she was a cherished daughter of the late Stanley and Winifred (Williams) Mastrofine. She is survived by her siblings, Lorraine Porcaro and her spouse Arthur of North Providence; Joanne Moitoza and her spouse John of Cranston; Elizabeth Sullivan and her spouse Jim in Florida; Susan Valenti and her spouse Wally of Johnston; Brian Mastrofine and his spouse Charlene of Cranston; and David Mastrofine and his spouse Julie of Central Falls. She also leaves her two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Veronica and her brother Larry.

Born and raised in Providence, Debbie was a proud graduate of Central High School. Upon graduation, she served her Country in the United States Army from which she was honorably discharged. She then enjoyed several years as a Dental Hygienist in private practice before changing careers to become a hair stylist. Pursuing this, her true passion, she completed professional education at the revered Arthur Angelo School of Hair Design and embarked on a successful and decades-long career in that field, serving a select portfolio of appreciative private clients.

Despite a variety of challenges and struggles, she maintained a positive attitude and was always kind and empathetic; it was her nature! In addition, she dedicated herself to caring for her mother, Winifred, until she passed.

Debbie loved her cats and thoroughly enjoyed dining out, watching comedy shows, listening to ‘Oldies’, and spending quality time with friends – especially when at the beach! In her younger days, she was extremely adventurous, outgoing, and loved exploring and trying new things.

Visitation and services, to which relatives & friends are cordially invited, will be held on Tuesday, June 10th, from 4:00 until 6:00p.m. at the Berarducci Home, 26 Grove Street, Providence. A private committal & burial with Military Honors will take place at the RI Veterans’ Cemetery in Exeter at the convenience of the family.
