Sonia Tirado

A beloved mother, sister, and friend, Sonia Tirado, 61, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully at home on June 26th, 2025. Born in Puerto Rico on December 23rd, 1963, she was a cherished daughter of the late Cecilio Tirado and Maria Natividad Tirado. She is survived by her children, Jecksan Rosado Tirado and his spouse, Genesis, of Woonsocket, Cruz Joel Vargas and his girlfriend, Alexandra, of Puerto Rico, and Sonia Cruz and her spouse, Paul, of West Lawn, PA; her siblings, Eduardo Tirado, Julia Tirado, Milagros Tirado, of NY, Alba Iris Tirado, Cruz Lugo, Jorge Tirado, Ramon Cruz Tirado, and Socorro Cruz Tirado of PA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all by whom she will be sorely missed!

A strong and dedicated mother, Sonia was the example of love and kindness for her family. A stay-at-home mom who poured her heart into creating a beautiful and loving home, she was quiet and reserved. Sonia enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and especially her Spanish soap operas. Her loving and quiet demeanor was appreciated by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace until we meet again!

Services for Sonia will be held at Holy Trinity Parish (OLQM Church) in Woonsocket on Saturday, July 12th, at 10am.

Una madre, hermana y amiga querida, Sonia Tirado de 61 años, de Woonsocket, falleció pacíficamente en su hogar el 26 de junio de 2025. Nació en Puerto Rico el 23 de diciembre de 1963, fue una hija apreciada de Cecilio Tirado y María Natividad Tirado. Le sobreviven sus hijos: Jecksan Rosado Tirado y su cónyuge Génesis de Woonsocket, Cruz Joel Vargas y su novia Alexandra de Puerto Rico, y su hija, Sonia Cruz y su cónyuge Paul de West Lawn PA. También le sobreviven sus hermanos: Eduardo Tirado, Julia Tirado, Milagros Tirado de NY, y Alba Iris Tirado, Cruz Lugo, Jorge Tirado, Ramon Cruz Tirado, Socorro Cruz Tirado de PA. También le sobreviven muchos sobrinos, sobrinas y primos quienes la extrañarán mucho.

Una madre fuerte y dedicada, Sonia fue el ejemplo de amor y bondad para su familia. Una madre que se quedaba en casa y que volcaba su corazón en crear un hogar hermoso y lleno de amor. Era callada y reservada, disfrutaba leer, hacer crucigramas y especialmente disfrutaba de sus telenovelas. Su amorosa y tranquila manera de ser será extrañada por todos los que la conocieron. Que descanse en paz eternamente hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar.

Los Servicios para Sonia se llevarán a cabo en la Parroquia Santísima Trinidad en Woonsocket el Sábado 12 de julio a las 10am.
