77, of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Gayle M. (Allen) Lancia. Born in Providence, he was the son of Barbara G. (Tolman) Lancia and the late Armand M. Lancia.
Armand was a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a Purple Heart recipient and also earned the National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal. After serving his country, he went on to work as a roofer, machinist and as a department head for Home Depot. He was an avid golfer and loved playing cards. Armand was also a member of the St. Mary’s Feast Society.
Armand is also survived by his dear siblings, Doreen Reca (Nicholas), Cynthia Lancia, and Michael Lancia (Cindy), as well as many nieces and nephews. Armand was the half brother of Lana Parenteau, Betty Anne Campbell and the late James Lancia; he was “Papa” to his step children, Bobbie Jo Strike and the late Anthony Flori, and step grandchildren, Shawna DeShaies and Bethany Pellegrino. Armand also leaves his former wife Joanne Rastella. He was predeceased by his infant son, Nicholas Armand Lancia.
