Carmella “Chickie” (Raso) Pennacchia
84, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Pennacchia Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Stefano and Josephine (Verdollotti) Raso. Chickie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Carmella is survived by her loving children, Louis Pennacchia Jr., and his wife Suzanne of Johnston, Stephanie DonFrancesco of Cranston, David Pennacchia and his wife Janet of Cumberland, and Michael Pennacchia and his wife Cristiana of Johnston. She was the cherished grandmother of thirteen and adored great-grandmother of sixteen. Carmella was the sister of the late Edward Raso.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Dec. 9th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Her Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10th, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston.
