Dolores “Della” (Carreiro) Rizzo

95, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Riverview Nursing & Rehabilitation in Coventry. She was the beloved wife of the late Fabio Rizzo. Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Madeline (Cota) Carreiro.

Della was the devoted mother of Sheron Lial of Cranston, Dolores G. Rizzo of Danielson, CT and the late Francesco “Frank” Rizzo; cherished grandmother of nine; loving great-grandmother of fourteen and great great-grandmother on nine.

Della loved politics, bingo, the casino and cooking for family gatherings.
