Felix (Blanco) Maria Aquino-Diaz

A beloved father, brother, and grandfather, Felix (Blanco) Maria Aquino-Diaz, 81 of Woonsocket passed away peacefully at Landmark Medical Center on January 27 th, 2025. He was born a son of Bienvenido Aquino Payan and Aqada Rosa-Diaz on April 11 th, 1943, in the Dominican Republic. He was the widow of Beatriz Gonzalez. He is survived by his children, four daughters, Erodito Aquino Gonzalez and her fiance’ Raul Alfonso both of Woonsocket. Niurka Aquino Gonzalez, Evelise Aquino Gonzalez, Yudelka Aquino De Jorge all of Santiago, Santo Domingo, He is also survived by his two sons, Alejandro Aquino Gonzalez of Nabareto Dominican Republic and
Wilson Aquino Gonzalez of Santiago Dominican Republic. He leaves his siblings, two brothers, Albert Aquino Diaz of Venezuela and Confessor Aquino Diaz of Santiago DR along with five sisters, Jorgita Aquino Diaz of Bronx NY, Esmerelda Munoz of Dominican Republic, Christiana Aquino Diaz and Beneranda Aquino Diaz both of Bronx NY and Noelia Alcantara of Santo Domingo along with seventeen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Freddy Aquino Diaz and Ruben Aquino Diaz.

Felix, Blanco, as he was affectionately known, was a handsome man, a wonderful husband of 44 years to his beloved, Beatriz. He was a wonderful husband and a hardworking granite fabricator for many years in Santiago where he and Beatriz raised their beautiful and loving family until her passing in 2010. He was a serious man with an acute business acumen and sold farmers market goods in addition to his full-time work. He provided for his family and even other families when he could. He had a great sense of humor, loved music and could dance a mean Merengue. He had a big heart and adored his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed friends and family; he liked to play Dominos and was known to enjoy a little whiskey every now and then while having his pork and plantains. He was a good man with a compassionate soul. He will join his beloved Beatriz until we meet again, may he rest in eternal peace.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Berarducci Funeral Home and services for Feliz will take place in the Dominican Republic.

Un amado padre, hermano y abuelo, Félix (Blanco) María Aquino-Díaz, de 81 años de Woonsocket, falleció pacíficamente en el Landmark Medical Center el 27 de enero de 2025. Nació como hijo de Bienvenido Aquino Payan y Agueda Rosa Díaz el 11 de abril de 1943, en República Dominicana. Era la viuda de Beatriz González. Le sobreviven sus hijos, cuatro hijas, Erodito Aquino González y su prometido Raúl Alfonso, ambos de Woonsocket, Niurka Aquino González, Evelise Aquino González, Yudelka Aquino De Jorge, todos de Santiago, Santo Domingo. También le sobreviven sus dos hijos, Alejandro Aquino González de Nabareto, República Dominicana y Wilson Aquino González de Santiago, República Dominicana. Deja a sus hermanos, dos hermanos, Albert Aquino Díaz de Venezuela y Confesor Aquino Díaz de Santiago RD junto con cinco hermanas, Jorgita Aquino Díaz de Bronx NY, Esmeralda Muñoz de República Dominicana, Christiana Aquino Díaz y Beneranda Aquino Díaz ambas de Bronx NY y Noelia Alcántara de Santo Domingo junto con diecisiete nietos y nueve bisnietos. Fue precedido en la muerte por dos hermanos, Freddy Aquino Díaz y Rubén Aquino Díaz.

Félix, Blanco, como era conocido cariñosamente, era un hombre apuesto, un esposo maravilloso de 44 años para su amada, Beatriz. Fue un fabricante de granito muy trabajador durante muchos años en Santiago, donde él y Beatriz criaron a su hermosa y amorosa familia hasta su fallecimiento en 2010. Era un hombre serio con una aguda perspicacia comercial y vendía productos del mercado de agricultores además de su trabajo de tiempo completo. Mantenía a su familia e incluso a otras familias cuando podía. Tenía un gran sentido del humor, amaba la música y podía bailar un merengue increíble. Tenía un gran corazón y adoraba a sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos. Disfrutaba de sus amigos y familiares; le gustaba jugar dominó y era conocido por disfrutar de un poco de whisky de vez en cuando mientras comía cerdo y plátanos. Era un buen hombre con un alma compasiva. Se unirá a su amada Beatriz hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar, que descanse en paz eterna.
