Beloved Son, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, Cousin, Godfather, and Friend.

With deep sorrow and love, we announce the passing of Jason Stallworth, who left this world on March 24, 2025, at the age of 50.
Jason was born and raised on the East Side of Providence and was the youngest and the only baby brother of his sisters. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elsie and Lonnie Stallworth, his sister Lona Stallworth, and his nephew Curtis Goode, Jr.
He leaves behind his loving sisters:Terrie Stallworth, Vicki Stallworth, and Shawyn Stallworth; his nephews: Lonnie Stallworth and Aeneas Stallworth; and four great-nieces and nephews.Jason also shared his life with Tammy Coakley, his life partner, who loved and stood by him with unwavering support.
Jason was well-known and deeply respected in the community, where many looked up to him and lovingly called him “Unc.” He was the kind of man who would help anyone—no questions asked. Whether you needed a ride, a favor, or just someone to talk to, Jason was always there. His loyalty, generosity, and heart made him unforgettable.
A proud graduate of Hope High School, Jason made his mark as a talented painter and carpenter whose work could be seen all over the city. He carried himself with quiet strength and lived by example—teaching others what it meant to show up, work hard, and care deeply.
Jason lived with love and left behind a legacy of loyalty, laughter, and light. His memory will be forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.
Visiting hours will be held at the A, A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Friday April 4th, from 9:00 am -10:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
