Kathleen Laprade, 74 of Johnston, passed away on November 12, 2024 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.
She was born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late J. Raymond and Dorothy M. (Galligan) Langton.
Kathy leaves a son David Laprade, Jr. and his wife Lara Lee of Lincoln, a sister Patricia A. Perillo of Johnston, a predeceased brother John R. Langton and a sister-in-law Nancy.
She also leaves two granddaughters Liza and Charlotte Laprade as well as a nephew and niece, Justin and Dayna Perillo.
Kathy worked as a Parking Enforcement Officer for the City of Providence for many years before retiring in 2006.
The funeral will be held on Monday November 18, 2024 at 10:00 am from Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am in St. Augustine’s Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Providence, RI. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston, RI. Visiting hours will be the morning of the funeral from 9:00-10:00 am.
