Kenneth W. Wilson, Sr.

Kenneth W. Wilson, Sr., 81, of Providence, and formerly of Massachusetts, passed away peacefully Monday February 3rd, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marybeth ((Currivan) for 22 years and has been with her for over 32 years.

Born in Somerville, MA, he was a son of the late Willard and Marion (Cramm) Wilson.

Mr. Wilson enjoyed woodworking and had a talent for making cabinets. In later years, he drove buses for children, and cherished the time spent with the children on their journeys. He was a Vietnam Era Army veteran, serving honorably.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Tonya Wilson, Tarsha Medeiros and her husband James, Patricia Wilson, and Kenneth Wilson, Jr.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Lorraine Maloney and David Wilson.
At his request, funeral services will be private. Mr. Wilson admired the work of the Danny Thomas Foundation and in his honor and memory, please make memorial donations to: St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
