Linda J. Therien,

Linda J. Therien, 78, of Johnston, passed away peacefully Friday January 10th, surrounded by her family.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Pastore) Adamo.

Mrs. Therien was a die-hard New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox Fan, watching sports, and playing Bingo.

She is survived by three children, Jacqueline Russell and her husband Christopher, Al Pesce and his wife Fran, and Migolina Adamo; six grandchildren; a brother, Robert Adamo; a nephew, Robert Adamo, Jr.; and two nieces, Kristen Adamo and Teresa Gray. She was predeceased by a sister, Camille Adamo.

Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Thursday January 16th, from 9:00 am – 10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of RI, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306 Providence, RI 02906.
