Luis Noble Aquino

Luis Noble Aquino, 92, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 9th, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in the Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Luis Noble and Elvira Aquino. Luis served honorably as a Lieutenant in the Dominican Navy. After retiring, he enjoyed fishing, boating, and watching sports. He was a big fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Tigres del Licey Baseball Team from the Dominican Republic. Luis loved to cook and be gather with family, friends and his neighbors. Luis was much loved and respected by everyone who knew him. He was a strong-willed man who fought until the end.

He is survived by six children, Luis Noble, Celeste Noble, Elvin Noble, Awilda Noble, Wilgen Noble, and Gabriel Noble; eighteen grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Saturday February 15th at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence. Visiting hours are Friday February, 14th 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
