Martina Payweyne, age 81, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. Born in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Mamie Henderson. Martina was a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years before retirement.
Mrs. Payweyne is survived by her children, Anthony G. Hill and Rachel S. Hill of Providence, RI. She also leaves 16 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. She leaves her brother Robert Henderson of Narragansett and was sister of the late Jesse Henderson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 10:00-12:00 pm with her funeral service at 12:00 pm in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, RI. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence, RI. The family is extending an invitation to join them at the American Legion Post, 2 Salem Street, Providence, RI for the repast at 3:00 pm.
