Lynn | Providence Anti-ICE Protest
I live in South County, and I’m part of South County Rising. That’s one of the local resistance groups.
I was at the ICE protest right after Renee Good was shot. That was a Thursday night, I think, right afterwards. And I’ve been in lots of ones down in South County. Today we went to Seth Magaziner’s office and presented him with a letter of requests for him to vote “no” to funding the Department of Homeland Security bill that’s coming up — the appropriations bill at the end of January that would give more money to ICE.
I’m just horrified by what’s going on in this country with ICE. Basically military occupation of our cities and our streets. The way they’re treating everyone, from immigrants to citizens alike. I want ICE at the border only.
