I love Providence — it’s the best. I’ve been here three years now. I’ve been in other countries and cities, but Providence has been it for me.
I do tiny crochet with fine yarn to dedicate details to life. I’ve been crocheting for several years — three or four years now? After I came here, I started to make some things for myself. And then the people around me, my friends, said, “You need to sell it.” And it came out into a small business.
Michelle Bi studies English and International & Public Affairs at Brown University. On campus, she writes for The Brown Daily Herald and is involved in social science research. She grew up in Ventura County, CA and enjoys playing guitar and crossword puzzles.
