Roselie Mary Pagliarini (Capaldi), 79, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, in her residence in Peabody, MA. She was born and raised in Providence by the late Ernesto and Rosina Capaldi. She was a devoted wife of 56 years to her husband, Raymond Pagliarini, where they lived together in Providence for 50 years before moving to Peabody, MA in 2019. She is survived by her husband Raymond, son Raymond A. Pagliarini (wife Katherine Whang), grandson James, and granddaughter Lucia. She is also survived by sisters Sandra Spadazzi (husband Frank Spadazzi), Ernestina Hanly (husband Joseph Hanly), and numerous nephews and nieces.
Roselie graduated Hope High School in Providence. She was a devoted member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Providence all of her life, volunteering in many activities over the years. She loved to cook for her family and friends, make arts and crafts, and give to others in whatever way she could.
We are forever thankful to Care Dimensions for their compassionate hospice care over the past several years, as well as the kind staff at Brooksby Village Long-Term Nursing.
Visiting hours will be on Saturday, March 8th from 9 – 10:30 a.m. at A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home at 200 Hawkins St in Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church at 280 Hawkins St. at 11 am. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
