Theresa Veltri

Theresa Veltri, 93, formerly of Providence, passed away Sunday, November 30th. She was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni Veltri.

Born in Belmont, Calabria, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Carmine and Rose Martiniano.

Theresa enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family on Sundays, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Frances Magnone; a son Joseph Veltri and his wife Gina; a daughter-in-law, Linda Veltri; seven grandchildren, Giovanni (John) Veltri and his wife Carol, Salvatore (Sam) Magnone and his wife Shayna, Gina Veltri, Domenico Veltri, Fiore Magnone and his wife Lisa, Christina Narducci and her husband Nicholas, Amanda Veltri Goscalves and her husband John Paul; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Domenico Veltri, a granddaughter, Marissa Veltri; and a son-in-law, Fiore Magnone.

Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Saturday December 6th, from 9:00 am – 10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
