Joseph Vecchiarino, Jr., 82, passed away on January 2, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Chiulli) Vecchiarino.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Amelia (Ruggieri) Vecchiarino.
Joe was an insurance agent of the Knights of Columbus for many years before retiring. He was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Knights of Columbus: Bouffard Council. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards and bocce.
He was the loving father of Joseph A. Vecchiarino and Lisa DiGiovanni and cherished grandfather of Alexia, Morgan and Justin. He was also brother of Karen A. Stanley and the late Paulie Vecchiarino.
His visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
