Anna (Salvati) Ruggiero, 97, of Texas Avenue, Providence passed away peacefully on September 16, 2024 in the Scandinavian Nursing and Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Louis Ruggiero.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Annunziata (Capparone) Salvati.
For many years, Anna worked as a bookkeeper at Metrocom Telephone Answering Service before retiring.
Anna was the loving mother of Cheryl Klimala (husband Gary) and Cindi Gianfrancesco. She was the cherished grandmother of Rachel Nagy, Jonathan Klimala, Alex and Sam Gianfrancesco. She was the beloved sister of the late Elena Spinella, Mary Scungio, Dolores Kay and Anthony, Peter and Vincent Salvati. She will be greatly missed.
