Berline H. Marshall

Berline H. Marshall, 71, passed away peacefully at her home on July 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Liberia, Berline was the beloved daughter of the late Aronah Marshall.

She devoted 38 years of her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a profession that reflected her compassionate spirit, gentle heart, and unwavering dedication to helping those in need.

Berline embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She loved crocheting, cooking meals for those she cherished, dancing, taking walks, and tending to her garden. Her vibrant personality, warm smile, and infectious laughter made her the life of every gathering. Whether enjoying time with family and friends, visiting Foxwoods, or simply sharing stories and laughter, Berline had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved.

Above all else, Berline’s greatest treasure was her family. She was a devoted mother to Amelia Thornton, Melvina Davis, Elvina Davis, and Michelle Wright. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Ember Duncan, Amaya Thornton, Mathew Lemos Jr., and Ezayah Contreras. She is also survived by her three siblings, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, wisdom, and love.

Berline will be remembered for her generous heart, her strength, her joyful spirit, and the countless lives she touched throughout her years. Her love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Her funeral services and burial will be private.
