Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County

Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County needs volunteers to serve as Helpline Advocates who directly support victims and their children. Volunteers complete in-person advocate training and then provide information, referrals, and emotional support by answering calls to the center’s helpline. The helpline is available Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This volunteer role requires a commitment of one, 4-hour shift per week at the organization’s drop-in center in Wakefield. Learn more by contacting Sue Czekalski (401) 782-3990 ext. 220, or [email protected].
