Federal Hill House

Federal Hill House seeks volunteers to help transport seniors who participate in the organization’s activities, such as the knitting circle and chair yoga. Individuals are picked up at their home around 10 a.m. and driven to Federal Hill House’s community room near Atwells Avenue in Providence. After activity and lunch, seniors are picked up by a volunteer at 12:30 p.m. and brought back home. Many of the seniors who enjoy and benefit from activities do not drive and can be uncomfortable relying on public transportation. For more, contact Michele Matott at [email protected].
