Frank D’Ambra

Frank D’Ambra 95, of East Providence, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026. He was the husband of the late Dorothy L. (Cuculo) D’Ambra to whom he was married for 63 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Pietro and Antonetta (Lutrario) D’Ambra.

Mr. D’Ambra was an Army Veteran. He was a warehouse worker for Almac’s for many years before retiring. He was an avid reader who loved gardening. He was also a diehard Yankee’s fan.

He leaves four children, Susan Powrie of East Providence, Carol Silva and her husband Edward of North Providence, Peter D’Ambra and his wife Mary-Jo of Seekonk and Diane Bryant and her husband Randy of Warren, five grandchildren, Erica Palmisano and her husband Steven, Jordan Silva and his partner Danny, Hayley Powrie, Peter D’Ambra, Jr. and Giana D’Ambra and one great grandson, Anthony Palmisano. He was the brother of the late Teresa Furtado and Joseph D’Ambra.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the PERRY-MCSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday, 5-7 PM.
