Helen A Pearson

Helen A Pearson, 79, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 17, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Pearson, with whom she shared many cherished years of love, laughter, and devotion.

Born in Pawtucket, Helen was the daughter of the late Gladys (Alkern) Bozzo. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her.

Helen found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time playing bingo, working on puzzles, and cheering on her favorite WWE wrestlers. She was also a devoted fan of Law & Order, rarely missing an episode. More than anything, Helen treasured the time she spent with her family. Her home was filled with love, laughter, and memories that will be carried in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Helen’s greatest pride was her family. She is survived by her four loving children, Debora Colantonio, Carol Pearson, Tammy Pearson, and Michael Pearson; her cherished grandchildren, Justin, Brianna, and Brandon; and her adored great-grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew, Aubrey, Alex, and Levi. She is also survived by her dear sister, Joanne Bonnett.

In addition to her husband and mother, Helen was preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara Whitley, Larry Bozzo, and Charlie Bozzo.

Helen will be remembered for her strength, her warm heart, her sense of humor, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that her love and legacy will live on through the family she cherished so deeply. She will be missed beyond words and remembered always with love.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Hope Hospice 1085 North Main Street, Providence RI 02904.
