Lorraine J. Vieira, 83, of Warwick, passed on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Gertrude (Smith) Vieira.
Mrs. Vieira worked as an administrator in the Affirmative Action Department for the City of East Providence before retiring. She enjoyed going to the casino, knitting and crocheting. She also loved her cat “Baby”. Mrs. Vieira was a loving, selfless and compassionate mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed.
She leaves two daughters, Sandra D. Laughlin and her husband Brian of East Providence and Kim L. Cabana and her husband Hugh of Warwick, four grandchildren, Krystal Laughlin Sexton, Shannon Laughlin, Kiana Boudreau and her husband David, Kassondra Cabana and many great grandchildren. She also leaves one sister, Shirley Fontes and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Walker, Priscilla Lewis-Pina and James Vieira.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Riviera Restuarant, 580 N. Broadway, East Providence, RI.
