Maureen A. Mosco, 81, of North Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Sisto A. and Adele (D’Agostino) Mosco.
Maureen graduated from R.I. College with a B.S. and M.Ed. She taught in North Providence for over twenty-five years at the Marieville School and Centerdale School before becoming Principal of the Primary School in the 1970’s.
Maureen is survived by her extended family and a group of loving friends who were also like family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence. A Prayer Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Maureen’s memory may be made to Continuum Hospice and Palliative Care 1350 Division Road, Suite 250, West Warwick, RI 02893 or the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
