Pawtucket Backpackers

Pawtucket Backpackers is in need of volunteers to help pack bags of food for Pawtucket students and food insecure families. Every week the nonprofit provides free food for 500 students in schools across Pawtucket. Each Wednesday morning, volunteers meet in the cafeteria at Blackstone Academy Charter School to unload deliveries of food and set up space for packing food. The bags are assembled, loaded into cares, and some volunteers deliver the bags to schools while others help return extra stock to storage.
