Rhode Islanders Sponsoring Education

Rhode Islanders Sponsoring Education (RISE), which provides educational opportunities and mentoring to children of incarcerated parents, is recruiting volunteers to become mentors. Volunteers must be 21 years or older, have their own vehicle, and be passionate about building a positive, supportive relationship with youth. Activities are community-based and fun, and happen twice per month for one calendar year. RISE matches mentors with youth by age preference, interests, and skills.
