Richard S. Corso
74, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Lake Forest Nursing Home, Smithfield. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie Ann (Librandi) Corso. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James and Rose (D’Ambrosco) Corso.
Richard is survived by his three loving daughters, Stacey Corso, Christina Notarangelo, Bianca Corso and his cherished granddaughter Raegan Notarangelo. He was the brother of the late James “Jim” Corso. He is also survived by his three sons-in-law, Alex Terreault, Thomas Notarangelo, and Jason Smigel. He was a skilled master carpenter for most of his life. Building homes and then transitioned to be union carpenter building movie sets in local 481. Richard had a wild sense of humor and loved to make his daughters laugh, always joking with them. He raised his three girls to be strong and to always work extremely hard. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking and baking, and trying out new recipes and logging them in his recipe journal. Richard was also a big lover of music as well, he was a fan of The Beatles, The Monkeys, and the Byrds. Aside from music, he loved to spend his time vintage and antique shopping and attending vintage car shows with his late wife and his kids with a Dunkin iced coffee in hand always.
