Ou beloved Shana Marie DelSanto, 44, of Providence, passed away on April 22nd, 2026, after a long struggle with numerous health issues. She was a cherished daughter of the late Ronald Petrarca and Donna Del Santo. She leaves behind her companion Jaquan Jordan of Providence with whom she shared her life and made her home. She is survived by her devoted aunts, Carol Buffi, Patricia and Jessica Del Santo all of Providence. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved early and by whom she will be sorely missed she was predeceased by her stepdad Mark Tyson.
Shana was known for her vibrant personality and great sense of humor, always ready to pull a prank or make a crank call that would leave everyone laughing. Shana loved Sunday dinners with her family, especially the “gravy,” and cherished every moment spent together. Her ability to sing like 50 Cent and her passion for Netflix brought joy to those around her. Above all, her family meant everything to her, and she adored all of her family, especially the many cousins, nieces and nephews. Shana also had a deep love for her Federal Hill neighborhood, appreciating the traditions, culture, and closeness it offered.
She will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to loved ones, and the strong community spirit she brought to all she did. May she rest in eternal peace until we meet again.
