Teolinda Cabral Sebastiao, 87, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in Sao Miguel while visiting her family. She was the wife of the late Eduardo Vieira Sebastiao to whom she was married 63 years.
Born in Rabo de Peixe, Sao Miguel, Azores she was the daughter of the late Victorino da Ressureicao and Maria da Gloria Cabral. Mrs. Sebastiao worked as a seamstress most of her life. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. She enjoyed singing and was very close to her family. Playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren always made her very happy. She was very proud of her Portuguese heritage and she loved traveling to Sao Miguel. She would spend one month there every year.
She leaves six children, Maria Teresa Sebastiao and her husband, Jose Flor, Eduardo Sebastiao and his wife Cidalia, Jose Domingos Sebastiao and his wife Ana Paula, Leonor Faria and her husband Jose, Fernanda Martins and her husband Carlos and Laudalina Martins and her husband Jose Antonio, fifteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.
Her funeral services will be private.
