The Village Common of Rhode Island

The Village Common of Rhode Island, which helps older adults age safely and independently in their own homes through volunteer support, is looking for individuals to assist its members in a variety of ways. Volunteers are needed to drive seniors to medical appointments and for errands, to help with light household chores and minor repairs, and with tech support for TVs, phones, and computers. Volunteers also participate in social and educational events held in person and virtually. The organization has established villages across multiple R.I. communities and can use help at sites across the state. All volunteers complete a background check and receive training.
