Dolores Izzo, 92, of Providence, passed away on Sunday October 19th, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenico Izzo.
Born in Valle Agricola, Caserta, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Angelina (Iannuccilli) Riccio.
Mrs. Izzo was a tremendous cook, and she enjoyed preparing meals for her friends and family.
She is survived by three children, Gina Veltri and her husband Joseph, Angelo Izzo and his wife Maria Garcia Zuniga, and Raymond Izzo and his wife Kathleen; six grandchildren, Christina Narducci and her husband Nick, Jennifer Sion, Jessica Manna and her husband Michael, Amanda Goncalves and her husband John Paul, Graig Sion and his wife Cassandra, and Noah Izzo; five great-grandchildren, Matthew Sion, Emma Narducci, Zoey Narducci, Wes Goncalves, and Domenic Sion; and a son-in-law Gregory Sion. She was the mother of the late Maria Sion and grandmother of the late Marissa Veltri.
