Anne L. McKinnon, 85, of Rumford, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026. She was the wife of the late Everett F. McKinnon. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Taylor) Langello. Anne was a Registered Nurse and a Clinical Educator at Rhode Island Hospital for 47 years before she retired. She was a graduate of St. Mary Academy-Bay View, as well as the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing and she received her bachelor’s degree and her master’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. Anne was a faithful communicant of St. Margaret Church. She was also a member of the East Providence Senior Center where she spent many a day knitting hats for everyone. She also loved to travel and search for that bargain while thrift shopping. More than anything she loved to pray, mostly for everyone that was a part of her life. She wanted to make sure everyone was happy and healthy.
She leaves one son, John J. McKinnon and his wife Jennifer, three grandchildren, Casey, Emma and Aidan, her cousin, Robert Timoney and his wife Christine and their children, Kaitlyn, Michael and Elizabeth.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday 4-7 PM.
