Revive the Roots, a group dedicated to caring for the land at Mowry Commons in Smithfield, is in need of individuals to join its Land Stewardship Committee. Members of the committee collaborate with staff and volunteers to lead and support projects. Volunteers are asked to attend a monthly meeting and contribute five hours per month. Those with interest in construction, plant identification, conservation, and tree and shrub care are encouraged to inquire.
