Georgina Gonzales Rivera Ayala, of Pawtucket, RI, formerly of Providence, RI, a cherished pillar of her community and a beacon of faith and wisdom, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, in Providence, at the age of 90.

For 26 years, Georgina dedicated herself to the Providence Public School Department as a Teacher Assistant, where she nurtured countless young minds with patience and care, retiring in 1998. Georgina’s interests outside of work and church included solving word search puzzles and expressing her love for her family and friends through the delicious meals she lovingly prepared. Her cooking was not just a hobby but a means of bringing people together, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Georgina lived her life with a grace that inspired others to seek the good in every day. Her wisdom was a guiding light for her family, especially her beloved daughter, Maria Ayala Gonzales, who will continue to carry her mother’s legacy forward.
