Ralph Ruggiero Sr., a cherished family man and respected member of the Pawtucket community for over 30 years, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, in the Pawtucket Falls Healthcare Center at the age of 82.
Born in East Providence, he was the son of the late Carmine Ruggiero Sr. and Madeline (Souza) Ruggiero.
He was the husband of Nancy E. (Normand) Ruggiero for 60 years. Together, they built a family founded on love, respect, and joy. Ralph’s role as a grandfather was one of his greatest joys; he cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren and took immense pride in their accomplishments. His unwavering support and encouragement helped shape them into the remarkable individuals they are today.
Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy, his sons, Scott Ruggiero and wife Melissa, of North Providence, and Ralph Ruggiero Jr., of Pawtucket, his daughter, Rhondell Ruggiero, of Providence, his cherished grandchildren, Kevin Pari and Brianna Ruggiero, and his sister, Madeline Yergeau and husband Ronald, of Providence.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Anthony Ruggiero, and his brothers, Carmine Ruggiero Jr. and Rudolph Souza.
Services for Ralph will be private.
As we say goodbye to Ralph, we celebrate a life well-lived, a family well-loved, and a man who will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His spirit will continue to inspire us, and his memory will be a comforting presence in our lives. Ralph’s journey on earth may have ended, but the impact of his love and the memories he created will endure forever.
